Sign up for the Motorcycly Safety Instruction Course. Since you've never ridden the best would be the one where you get classroom instruction and learn to physically ride the bike. In Maine, United Bikers of Maine offers these courses but are all filled up for this year already. These things fill up fast. Maybe you have something like this where you live. Talk to people that own bikes, at work, school or in your neighborhood. They might be able to help you.
